The Existential Horse

At sunrise on the open plain,
a horse stood tall in quiet rain.
No bit, no bridle, path, or plan—
just earth below and sky began.

He breathed the wind, he felt the ground,
no need to chase, no need to bound.
Who am I, if not the force
that moves the world without remorse?

Not lost, not tamed, but wide awake—
each step his own, each choice he’d make.
And in that stillness, bold and true,
he found the strength to just be you.

No need to race, or prove, or flee—
the journey was the destiny.
